Eric Tetler, the president and CEO of Windfield Alloy, Inc., has worked in the environmental and renewables sector for more than two decades. An active member of his community, Eric Tetler supports several local charities, including the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Derry.
The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Derry has worked with youth from disadvantaged social and economic circumstances for close to 50 years. Following the main organization’s focus on enabling and supporting youth, the Greater Derry club seeks to increase local youth access to its many programs and resources. To the end, it maintains the It Just Takes One campaign, an initiative that relies on the financial support of sponsors to increase the number of local kids that can join in on the club’s activities.
Currently, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Derry serves more than 3,000 boys and girls with its activities and programs, but through the monetary commitment of adult community members it can expand this to larger numbers. Sponsors can choose to be billed at one time or in quarterly installments, and funds go toward providing the club with the support it needs to maintain its current programs and add in new programs. It also ensures that no girl or boy is denied membership.
